Ochoa leads the way

Lorena Ochoa is the round-three leader of the Kraft Nabisco Championship at Rancho Mirage in California. Ochoa is six under overall and enjoys a one-stroke lead after she recorded a one-under-par third round of 71 which included a mixed bag of four birdies and three bogeys. Hee-Won Han is hot on Ochoa&aposs heels in outright second position on five under after she produced a two-under 70 on the third day. The South Korean&aposs only blemish came on the 14th hole in the form of a bogey as she managed to rattle off birdies at the 2nd, 10th and 11th. There&aposs a three-way tie for third position heading into the final round with Cristie Kerr, Seon Hwa Lee and Maria Hjorth all on four under and two shots adrift of the leader. Another three women – Inbee Park, Liselotte Neumann and Heather Young – are in equal sixth position on three under while Suzann Pettersen and Annika Sorenstam are a shot further back in a tie for ninth. Karrie Webb is five shots off the pace on one under along with Na Yeon Choi, Diana D&aposAlessio and Se Ri Pak.
