Nominee Name: Norika Wakayama MYGolf Centre: Palm Meadows State: QLD Age: 9 Favourite Golfer: Karrie Webb A golfer for approximately a year now, Norika Wakayama was first introduced to the game through her parents; her Dad plays regularly and her Mum was keen for her to learn as well. Based at The Golf School in Palm Meadows, Queensland, Norika has developed her skills progressing from the MYGolf bronze level to silver and according to Centre Coordinator Matt Kiernan also demonstrates plenty of leadership. When we have a new student start at The Golf School Norika introduces them to the program, the facilities and assists in making them welcome, Kiernan said. Kiernan also praised Norika s approach to the game and believes that she is a young champion in our sport. She has a great attitude and always brings enthusiasm and a smile to golf! Kiernan said.
