Oh and Lee win Karrie Webb Series

d Number 1 amateur Minjee Lee (WA) and World Number 5 Su-Hyun Oh (VIC) are the recipients of the 2014 Karrie Webb Series scholarships.

The Karrie Webb Scholarships are awarded annually on the basis of the following criteria: performance in the Karrie Webb Series events, community work supported by the individual (either inside or outside of golf), performance as an ambassador for golf in Australia and overseas, exhibits outstanding demeanour both on and off the golf course and is an Australian citizen.

Lee and Oh have both enjoyed excellent recent form with both players making the cut in their first appearance at a Major at the Kraft Nabisco Championship in California. Lee finished as the leading amateur.

Lee will also compete in the Australian team at the inaugural LPGA International Crown at Caves Valley in Maryland in late July. The team includes Karrie Webb, Katherine Kirk and Lindsey Wright.
