Ong takes title at Royal Adelaide

Victorian Sean Ong snatched victory in a play-off with South Australia&aposs Patrick Sutherland to win the Golf SA Junior Masters at Royal Adelaide Golf Club. Ong, just 14 years of age, was taken to a play-off by Sutherland and with both players making the green in regulation, Ong sank a short putt to defeat Sutherland by a stroke. A strong field of 42 players contested the two-day 72 hole event. The event attracts Australian Junior Order of Merit points. Ong joins a long list of well credentialed Golf SA Junior Masters winners including David Lutterus, Jason Day, Rick Kulacz and Matt Jager to name a few. with assistance from Golf SA
