New South Wales’ Austin Bautista and local member Simon Hawkes share the lead of the 2016 Tasmanian Open following today’s third round.
Bautista carded a two-under-par round of 70 this afternoon to move to equal first with Hawkes who returned an even-par 72.
Overnight leader Josh Armstrong from The Lakes Golf Club struggled today and returned an eight-over 80.
Tasmania Golf Club’s Andrew Phillips is in outright fourth on three-over after carding an even-par 72.
Queensland’s Christopher Crabtree is a further stroke adrift on four-over-par in fifth place.

Tasmania Golf Club’s Georgia Milbourne and Zahara Lemon share the lead following the third round along with Victoria’s Steffanie Vogel, all on seven-over-par.
Milbourne returned a three-under-par round of 70 to jump into a three-way share of the lead with Lemon and Vogel returning 73 and 80 respectively.
South Australia’s Elysia Yap is eleven stroke behind in fourth place on eighteen-over-par.
