The Open Heart Open is an 18-hole Stableford event targeting men and women with an Australian handicap who have previousy undergone open heart surgery. The event that first started at Royal Melbourne Golf Club in 1989 has continued to grow. The event is an opportunity for these players to compete amongst themselves and to celebrate a game of golf together.
Now in its 25th year, the Open Heart Open will be held at the prestigious Green Acres Golf Club on Monday 5 May 2014.
At the completion of their round, the so-called "Zipper Club" competitors will be invited for a 2 course meal where the presentations
for the days events will be given.
