Over 200 men and women will be starting Give Golf a Go clinics throughout Victoria from this weekend.
Golf Victoria has partnered with many golf clubs and driving ranges across the state to run Give Golf a Go; a program that
teaches people the basic skills of golf through social and relaxed group clinics.

“I always get a thrill speaking to people about Give Golf a Go, said Serrin Cooper, Give Golf a Go Coordinator at Golf
Victoria. While there is a whole array of people who ask questions about the program – business men and women, recent retirees, couples wishing to learn together, one thing is for sure, they are always very excited and eager to start!”

“We have gone online for the first time and while there have been some challenges associated with taking registrations, it
is still very pleasing to see so many people interested in taking up golf, stated Cooper. “We are working on ironing out these issues to ensure that the program is as simple and smooth as possible to enrol in for Term 2 and beyond”.

To support people from clinics to on-course play and competition, Golf Victoria also works closely with clubs to implement the Social and Women’s Golf Network. These are ideal programs for people who are looking to develop more confidence and capability to get out on the golf course
and enjoy a round.
