Event Overview
The NSW Men's Fourball Championship is a State event for the average Club golfer and is conducted in three (3) stages.
The competition involves two (2) competitors' playing as partners, each playing their own ball. The best score of the two players is the score for the hole. Each pair will consist of two males who are members of the same golf Club, being the Club conducting the Stage 1 event and must remain financial members of that Club for the duration of the competition.
All stages will be conducted as a Men's Fourball Par event. At the District, Metropolitan & State Finals, each player will play off their "cap point handicap"; ie. The lowest handicap for the previous 12 months.
Stage 1: Club
A Club qualifying round is conducted, usually in conjunction with a scheduled Fourball event. The eligible pairs from the Country & Metropolitan Club qualifying events then progress to Stage 2.
