Event Overview
The NSW Mixed Fourball Championship commenced in 1993 to provide a State event for the average club golfer.
KENO has been a long-time supporter of Golf NSW. In 2001 they became the major sponsor of the NSW Mixed Fourball Championship, and therefore in 2015 will see us celebrate 14 years of their support – a remarkable contribution to golf in NSW.
The competition involves two (2) competitors playing as partners, each playing their own ball. The best score of the two players is the score for the hole. Each pair will consist of one male and one female who are members of the same golf club, being the club conducting the Stage 1 event and must remain financial members of that club for the duration of the competition.
The KENO NSW Mixed Fourball Championship is conducted in three stages;
STAGE 1 – CLUBS
A club qualifying round is conducted, usually in conjunction with a scheduled fourball event. The qualifying pairs from the Metro & Country club qualifying events then progress to Stage 2.

STAGE 2 – DISTRICT (District, Metropolitan Play-Offs)
Play-offs are conducted in each of the 20 District Associations, as well as one metropolitan play-off. The winners of the 20 district play-offs and 20 pairs from the metropolitan play-off qualify to play in the State Final.
STAGE 3 – STATE FINAL
The State Final is a 36-hole Par event (two rounds of 18-holes), which is conducted over two days in mid-September each year. In 2015 it will be held at Bonville Golf Resort.
All stages will be conducted as a Mixed Fourball Par event in which competitors' play off their full daily handicap, current on the day of play.
