Page & Bannan in the winners circle again

p;

One day after victory in the Golf Victoria Junior Tournament (The Metropolitan), Kay Bannan continued her steady form again at The National Junior Classic carding a 75 off the stick to take out the girls section. -3 under par through the turn, it would seem she had mastered the slick greens at the Long Island site but a couple of late birdies would square her back to +1 par. Bannan now etches her name alongside Rio De Janeiro Olympian Su Oh who has prevously won this event.

In the age group sections, it was local girls Jen Quinlan and Gracie Larsen who took out the U16 and U14 gross sections respectively.

Meanwhile, in the boys section Nathan Page a member of The National enjoyed a consistent round with only two bogeys and two birdies to level out at even par. In the U14 section, in-form Nivethan Kanthan comfortably won with a 75 gross and in the U16 section Bailey Dunn from the Rosebud CC was victorious with a 77.
