Patsy Jessup was made a Life Member of Women’s Golf Northern Rivers at their recent Annual General Meeting held on 21st October 2013. Patsy has been an active member of golf on the Northern Rivers for many years, including two terms as President from 2003-2005 and 2009-2013; Vice President 2002 and 2006-2008; and as a Northern Rivers Representative for her home club Casino Golf Club. She has also held positions including President for many years on the Ladies Committee at Casino Golf Club. She is a wonderful ambassador for women’s golf and uses every opportunity to foster and promote golf for women in the Northern Rivers. Patsy also attends Open days in her role as President of the Northern Rivers Region and encourages all clubs to support one another. Her public relation skills ensure that the clubs in our region is renown state wide as being active and innovative, largely due to Patsy leadership of a very dedicated and efficient committee. Patsy is thoroughly deserving of the honour of Life Membership of Women’s Golf Northern Rivers. The voting was unanimous and Patsy was congratulated with a standing ovation, Patsy was also recently made a Life Member of her home club Casino.
