Pike Cup – Glenelg 4 def Royal Adelaide 1
Glenelg has won back to back Pike Cups after defeating Royal Adelaide 4-1 in the final played at The Grange Golf Club.
With Louise Pike in the team, playing at number four, winning the cup named in her late sister Fiona’s honour, it was a special win for Glenelg.
“Extremely happy, it was touch and go as it was very tight the first nine and after 11 holes we were up in three so I started to get excited, then it got back to being very close again. It was a nerve-racking game, but we came through.” Team Manager Joy Green said.
“Thank you to Royal Adelaide it was a lovely game.”
