Peregian springs into Christmas with MyGolf award

Craig Goodall at Peregian Golf Course was absolutely delighted when he heard that his club had won the prestigious MyGolf centre of the month award for December – a fitting reward for his 12 successful MyGolf programs this term.

“I am so happy with how the program is going, and I’m loving running it,” Craig said.

“The kids get so involved in the activities and games that we incorporate into the sessions. It is amazing to watch their progress and ability.”

With 60 MyGolfers registered and more flowing in, Craig’s programs cover all stages based on skill levels and experience, alternating activities that include hoops, hurdles, balancing, targets, rules, etiquette and scoring on the course.

Craig commits his time to multiple programs across four days of the week to ensure that all kids in the area get the chance to play golf.

“We have so much fun on course. One of the kids can stand their putter up on its own so we tell him that the phantom is putting,” Craig said.

“The kids have a great sense of humour.”

The advanced group also use the Trackman coaching software to get a better understanding of their golf swings, as well as learning course management skills alongside their standard lessons.

“I’d like to thank the children for their enthusiasm and the joy they bring me, as well as the parents for bringing the kids along each week. The GSM staff at Peregian have also provided great assistance,” Craig said.

Fantastic work on the program Craig, keep up the great work!
