Dylan Perry and Ben Ferguson have completed impressive British tours with a pair of solid results at the European Amateur Championship.
Early pacemaker Perry fired his fourth successive sub-par round overnight, but his 71 wasn't enough to go with the leaders as the Hunter Valley ace shared 10th on 11 under at Walton Heath.
Perth's Ferguson shot a closing 70 to finish at eight under and in a share of 22nd place.
England's Alfie Plant (-15) took five extra holes to win a three-man playoff, eventually getting the better of Lorenzo Scalise with a birdie on the fifth after his fellow Italian and defending champion Luca Cianchetti bowed out on aggregate scores after three holes.
Perry, based now on the Gold Coast but representing The Vintage, did remarkably well to bounce back after his heart-breaking loss in The Amateur at Royal St George's last weekend when he lost the match play final at the 38th hole.
Ferguson, a member at The Vines, was third at the recent St Andrews Links Trophy and also reached the match play phase of The Amateur.
