Perske finishes sixth

Australian Wayne Perske has fired a final round of 66 to finish in outright sixth place behind Tomohiro Kondo at the JCB Classic in Japan. Perske started the day seven shots behind Tetsuji Hiratsuka but a hole in one during his round helped propel him up the leaderboard to finish the tournament at 11-under-par, and two shots behind Kondo. Kondo&aposs final round of 69 saw the 29-year-old register a one-shot victory from Seung-Ho Lee, Mamo Osanai, Koumei Oda and Azuma Yano, while Hiratsuka stumbled to a final round of 74 to finish in equal seventh place at 10-under-par. Tied with Hiratsuka was local hope Hiroshi Owata and Brendan Jones, the consistent Australian carding a final round of 67 to hold his position at No.3 on the tour money list. Fellow Australian Chris Campbell shot a disappointing final round of 73 to finish at even-par and tied for 34th position.
