The Perth International has been given a formal slot on next year’s golf calendar and will have three sanctioning partners.
The magnificent Lake Karrinyup Country Club will host the event from February 25-28, meaning it has moved from its previous late-spring timeslot in the sponsoring West Australian government’s hope of attracting a deeper field.
Highlighting the strong and growing bond between the European and Asian tours, both will join the PGA Tour of Australasia as sanctioning partners for the tournament, that will run between the Maybank Championship in Malaysia and the WGC Cadillac Championship in Florida on those tours’ schedules.
