Pettersen takes out Taiwan title

Norway&aposs Suzann Pettersen continued her run of good form by winning the Sunshine LPGA Taiwan Championship on Sunday. Pettersen, who won last week&aposs LPGA HanaBank Championship, carded a final-round three-under 69 for a total of 19-under 269 at the Sunrise Golf and Country Club. The 31-year-old made a strong start with a birdie on the par-four 1st hole before picking up further shots on the 6th, 12th, 15th and 18th holes. South Korea&aposs Park Inbee finished in second place, three strokes behind the winner, after squandering the overnight lead. Park, who had a two-shot advantage over the field at the start of the day, posted three bogeys and just one birdie in her round of 74. World No.1 and defending champion Yani Tseng (71) was third at 15 under, one stroke ahead of Scotland&aposs Catriona Matthew (70). South Korea&aposs So Yeon Ryu (68) was fifth at 10 under, followed by Swede Anna Nordqvist (71) and American Cristie Kerr (73) at nine under. Sarah Jane Smith (79) was the best-placed Australian in equal 38th at four over. Lindsey Wright (79) was in a tie for 50th at six over, with fellow Aussie Katherine Hull (77) a further shot adrift in equal 54th.
