Piercy wins Wichita Open

Scott Piercy has won the Wichita Open by two strokes after an even-par 71 final round at the Crestview Country Club in Kansas. Piercy was 22-under going into the final round and despite dropping two shots in the opening seven holes, the American shot two late birdies to win his first title on the Nationwide Tour. Daniel Summerhays, Hunter Haas and Spencer Levin all finished in a tie for second place on 20-under. Woon Joon Lee was the best-placed Australian, finishing in a tie for seventh place after another solid round. Compatriots Scott Gardiner and Aron Price both had good tournaments finishing 16th and 21st respectively.
