Pineapple and Beef on the menu for MyGolfers at WS6P

West Australian MyGolfers were treated to a huge range of special opportunities with some of the world’s best players at the World Super 6 Perth held earlier in February at Lake Karrinyup Country Club.

It started on Tuesday with a special experience with two of the most colourful Professionals on tour. Jack ‘Pineapple’ Wilson and Andrew ‘Beef ‘ Johnston brought smiles from ear to ear to 20 young MyGolfers from Whaleback and Royal Fremantle Golf Clubs showing them some of their best trick shots and playing a unique game of ‘Golf Connect Four’.

The fun continued on for MyGolfers on Wednesday as they caddied alongside Tour Professionals such as Lee Westwood, Danny Willett and Beef Johnston during the Tournament Pro Am. For 18 holes, the juniors hung on every word as they got up close and personal with their idols for a once in a lifetime experience that they’ll never forget.

The World Super 6 Perth tournament was properly underway on Thursday with two MyGolfers, Himali Naicker and Lloyd Browne, showing the Professionals how to do it, hitting the first shots of the tournament. On Saturday, 10 lucky MyGolfers were treated to an exclusive behind the scenes tour before heading to the first tee to get a photo with the leading groups in the third round.

The week of fun ended on Sunday for even more MyGolfers from Bunbury, Bakers Hill and Hillview Golf Clubs who participated in an 18th green putting competition and guard of honour for 2018 champion, Kiradech Aphibarnrat.

MyGolf continues to grow in the West as it does across all of Australia and hundreds of MyGolfers now have a special story to tell their friends at school about their unique experience at the World Super 6 Perth.
