This is your chance to win a trip to Northern Ireland and play the R&A’s nine-hole championship final at Royal Portrush in 2019!
By playing nine-holes at your local Queensland club or Play 9 Open Event, you can win the experience of a lifetime and play like a pro at the 2018 Australian Open, and potentially even head to the 148th Open Championship.
Four Queensland golfers will earn the chance to represent their state at the Play 9 national final at The Lakes Golf Club during Round 3 of the 2018 Australian Open.
You can enter by:
1. Playing in an official nine-hole competition at a Queensland Golf Club between 1 June – 21 October and/or;
2. Playing 9 at the Open Event at The Brisbane Golf Club on Sunday 28 October. Enter here.
The best two stableford scores (one female, one male) from around the state during this period will qualify directly for the national final, with the remaining two qualifiers (one female, one male) coming from the Open Event.
Winners will travel to Sydney on Friday 16 November 2018, stay for two nights, receive a gift pack and attend the Champion’s Cocktail Function – all courtesy of Golf Australia.

The best individual male and female stableford scores from the national final will win the experience of a lifetime to play nine holes at Royal Portrush just before the world’s best tee it up at The Open.
You can play in multiple competitions, but you must have an official Golf Australia handicap to be eligible. The more you play, the more chances to win!
