Porker fires course record

Victorian Adam Porker fired a course record six-under-par 65 to move into contention going into the final round of The Vintage NSW Open but it is Darren Beck who still holds sway. Beck will be vying for a start to finish victory, having held the lead for the entire tournament. He is at eight-under and four shots clear of South Australian Jason Norris. Porker lowered the previous record set by Beck just two days prior. James Nitties also featured on day three recording a four-under par round of 67 to put him back to even par and still in contention. Victorian Ashley Hall also has the chance to claim the Von Nida Tour Order of Merit trophy but will need to claim the NSW Open Championship to overtake Order of Merit leader Andrew Bonhomme who is absent from the NSW Open currently competing in the USA.
