Our Organisation:
Golf Queensland is the peak body for amateur golf in Queensland providing a blend of services and programs to golf clubs and golfers of all ages and abilities.
The Role:
Your role will include provision of a broad range of administration and project support, including the efficient coordination of a number of office or administration functions and resources. A critical role will be the provision of a friendly and efficient first point of contact to all visitors and customers of Golf Queensland.
A small number of the specific tasks you will undertake are:
• Act in the office reception role for phone calls, emails and deliveries
• Assist in basic finance administration including receipting and petty cash
• Coordinate facility/office/equipment cleaning and maintenance
• Organisation and support of Golf Queensland Mail Outs to Districts and Clubs
• Process golf tournament entries and maintain databases
• Book travel and accommodation for board, staff and players
• Take minutes and provide documentation of meetings
The Person:
You will take ownership for delivering professional administration support services while having flexibility to work across a broad range of activities. Interpersonal skills that support friendly and quality customer service as well as build positive work relationships in a small team are critical. Experience in the delivery of quality office administration so that you can ‘hit the ground running’ will be important.
