Golf SA is the peak body responsible for development of amateur golf in South Australia. This includes grassroots participation, through to club membership and golfing pathways to the elite level. Reporting to the CEO the newly created position of Development Coach has a key role in the State Development Plan, implementation of Participation Programs, management of the Community Coach program and elite level golf coaching that supports the Golf SA High Performance Program. To be successful you will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills that support a sound knowledge of current golf coaching principles including sports medicine and sports science. You will be able to develop and document participation programs that can be delivered by a range of service providers. A current PGA/LPGA (or equivalent) membership is essential and recent professional development in coaching/teaching is highly desirable.
