Frank Power has confirmed his place in the 2018 Isuzu Queensland Open after winning the Far North Queensland Open at Gordonvale Golf Club.
The Cairns member secured the final regional qualifier exemption by one shot over Half Moon Bay’s William Florimo after rounds of 69-68 (137) for a 3-under finish.
“It was a great weekend, I thought I played solid over the last few days,” Power said after his round. “I chipped and putted well enough to limit the damage and beat the boys by one.
‘I’m looking forward to playing in my first Isuzu Queensland Open at The Brisbane Golf Club as it has been 20 years since I lasted played there.
“It was great to also have the local support from local Isuzu dealer Ireland's of Cairns.”

The 2018 Isuzu Queensland Open will be played at The Brisbane Golf Club from 1 – 4 November.
