Australian Aron Price has finished two shots behind winner Justin Hicks at the Ford Wayne Gretzky Classic in Ontario. Price headed into the final day in equal 16th position and recorded a four-under-par final round of 67 to finish the Nationwide Tour tournament in a share of fifth position on 14-under overall. Hicks drew level with third-round leader Casey Wittenberg on 16-under after 72 holes and sent the tournament into a playoff. Hicks won the playoff with a two-putt par on the first playoff hole. American duo Garrett Osborn and Peter Tomasulo both finished a shot further back from Hicks and Wittenberg on 15-under. Osborn came from the clouds on the final day to register the best round of any golfer – a sizzling nine-under par 62 – and finish in equal third position after being in a tie for 47th after 54 holes. Cameron Percy was the next best Australian in equal 34th position on eight-under while Paul Gow, David McKenzie and Ewan Porter were all a shot further back on seven-under.
