Pro-Am cancelled

Today&aposs Australian Open Pro-Am tournament has been cancelled due to heavy rain sweeping across Sydney. Golf Australia Director of Championships Trevor Herden said it was in the best interests of the course in preparation for Thursday&aposs opening round. “It is unfortunate that Sydney&aposs water table is as high as it is after so much rain in Sydney recently,” Herden said. “We want to put the course in the best position for a great launch to Round 1 tomorrow.”
