HIS STORY: Greg Chalmers enjoyed a breakthrough season in 2015/16, winning his first ever US PGA Tour title at the Barracuda Championship – ending the longest active winless streak on the American main tour. In his 386th start, the 42-year-old finally got the job done at the stableford event in Reno, Nevada. A five-time winner on the PGA Tour of Australasia, Chalmers can never be written off in his national championship. Royal Sydney’s doglegs and shorter holes may be an advantage for the left-hander.
