Jessica Korda shows talent, grit and great theatre on the golf course. Her maiden win at the 2012 ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open, the first event of just her second season, was achieved by birdeing the second sudden-death hole of a now famous six-way playoff. In 2014, after a solid 2013 saw her make every cut, she again won the season opening event, this time in the Bahamas just two weeks after starting a swing change which saw her shank out of bounds on the second last day and make an exciting up-and-down on the final hole to defeat Stacy Lewis by a shot. With a second win for 2014 as well, Korda’s star is rapidly on the rise.
