Peter Senior

The defending Emirates Australian Open champion, Senior has recorded his two best finishes in a Major at the Open Championship in 1988 and 1993.

A winner of 22 PGA Tour Australasia tournaments including two Australian Opens and three Australian PGA Championships, Senior has been one of the most recognisable faces in Australian golf for some time.

When in the army in Singapore, his Dad introduced him to golf with a starter set to keep him out of trouble.

Having made every cut from 25 starts on the PGA Champions tour in 2013, including nine top 10 finishes, Senior looks to be in good shape to defend his Australian Open title.
