Queensland and New South Wales will battle it out for the #AusJnr Boys’ Interstate crown with the competition set to come down to the final round tomorrow at Hartfield Golf Club.
Both states have finished with a five and one record after six rounds, with Western Australia and South Australia trailing the sides in third place.
If both states record victories the competition will be decided by matches won, with Queensland holding a slight edge going into the final day.
However, if WA knock off QLD or South Australia defeat NSW it becomes tight once more.
WA fell behind the pack on day three after losing 3-2 to a spirited NSW lineup, with Ethan Chambers and Corey Lamb taking comfortable victories early.
Cooper Geddes made long putt for eagle on his final hole to square with Tom Heaton, however a halve between Josh Greer and Harrison Crowe gave NSW victory.
Queensland flexed their muscle against South Australian winning 4.5-0.5, before whitewashing Northern Territory 5-0.
NSW narrowly took care of ACT 3-2 in the afternoon to leave them at the top with Queensland.
Jye Pickin and Harrison Crowe were again the stars in the tight win, leaving all to play for on Friday morning.
Lamb escaped defeat against Luka Brucic with a par on the last to get his side over the line.
WA took a consolation result out against Tasmania and will be aiming to deny Queensland victory in their contest tomorrow.
South Australia and Victoria halved their contest to leave WA a clear third.
