Queensland takes lead at Nudgee

Home side Queensland has moved into the outright lead after the third round of the Girls&apos Interstate Teams Matches at Nudgee Golf Club. The hosts cruised early, taking the opening three matches against South Australia to wrap up the contest. Christina Mew, Katelyn Must and Jacki Marshall recorded the victories before Samathna Holt and Jovanna Bozanic clawed a couple of points back for the South Australians, who slipped to equal-second. They are joined in second spot by New South Wales who posted a tight 3-2 win over Western Australia. Jordana Keaton started well with a 4&3 win before Rhianna Davies squared the ledger. Wins to Emma Betland and Ellie Sandak won the contest for New South Wales who are still to face South Australia and Victoria. In the morning&aposs other match, Victoria defeated Tasmania by four to record their first win of the series. Breanna Elliott posted the most emphatic victory as she triumphed 7&6 over Tasmania&aposs Sarah Johnstone. Click here for all scores
