Race to Links Lady Bay underway

The Race to Links Lady Bay got off to a flying start at Flagstaff Hill Golf Club last month and congratulations to the first round winner Robert Sproul. Robert a member at Highercombe Golf Club in Adelaide s east held off strong competition to take out the first ever Race event to be held in South Australia and with it become the first player to qualify for April s Grand Final at Links Lady Bay. First prize at each Race event is all expenses paid entrance to the final including golf, accommodation, meals and drinks. The Race Series is a GOLF Link event that is also being staged in Sydney and Melbourne and offers all golfers with a valid handicap the opportunity to compete over a series of open day style competitions, whilst earning points on an Order of Merit. The top ranked players at the end of the series will be eligible to enter a final event at Links Lady Bay, where players will compete to become the South Australian Race Champion and with it first prize of $1,200 worth of stay and play at Links Lady Bay. Round 2 of the series will be held at Tea Tree Gully Golf Club on Monday 28th February, entrance to the event includes: golf, welcome pack, food and drink voucher, order of merit points plus the chance to win the all expenses paid entrance to the final.
