Australian Men&aposs Senior Amateur Championship – Results: Round 1 Senior Interstate Stroke Teams Event – Results: Round 1 Defending champion Stefan Albinksi (NSW) returned a 1-over par 73 to take the first round lead at the Australian Men’sSenior Amateur Championship at Tanunda Pines Golf Club in South Australia s Barossa Valley. Albinski, a two time former champion, leads by two strokes from a group of five players in second position who shot 3-over par 75. The five includes 2007 Joint Champion Rick Oliver (NSW), Ross Percy, father of US Tour player Cameron Percy, 2008 Australian Senior Match Play Champion Chris Coats from Queensland, and NSW pair Richard Greville and Paul Maslen. A group of players are in seventh position, including three time champion Tony Gresham and two time champion Denis Dale. Three time champion Rodney Barltrop (NZ) remains in contention despite returning a 7-over par 79. The NSW team of Stefan Albinski, Denis Dale, Paul Maslen and John Small leads the team event.
