In round four of the Sanderson Cup, The Grange notched up its fourth straight win, Kooyonga claimed maximum points, while home side Glenelg handed Royal Adelaide its first loss of the season.
4-1 was the score line between Glenelg and Royal Adelaide with Shakira-ann Kuys 2up, Josie Gale 6&5, Sarah Crocker 5&3 and Charley Jacobs 2&1 having wins.
Royal Adelaide’s Sophie Hilditch continued her unbeaten run to defeated Elysia Yap 3&1 but Glenelg proved too strong overall and jumped into second position on the ladder.
By defeating Blackwood 4-1, The Grange has now won all four matches this season by the same margin. The sole match dropped each round has been in a different positon with only the number four position for Grange remaining undefeated.
Wins in round four were to Amelia Whinney 6&4, Jean Foo 5&4, Cassidy Evreniadis 4&2 and Caitlin Roberts 1up. Blackwood point came courtesy of Jo Buchanan 3&2 over Louise Glennon.
Kooyonga notched up its first win of the season defeating Mount Osmond 5-0. Deb Percey 3&2, Jodie Deacon 4&3, Jill Trenorden 3&2, Lyn McGough 4&3 for her third win of the year and Hayley Hunt 1up, were all winners for Kooyonga. Kooyonga;’s best performer this season is Lyn McGough who notched up her third win.
In round five matches home side Royal Adelaide takes on top team The Grange, Mount Osmond plays Glenelg while Kooyonga takes on Blackwood.
