Local member, Paul Read, has emerged as medallist at this year’s Salamanca Inn Men's Amateur Championship of Tasmania.

 

Read carded rounds of 69 and 72, a total of 141 (-3) to defeat his nearest rival, Sam Rawlings of Riverside, by two strokes on one-under.

 

Local member and state Captain, Mark Schulze, placed third on even-par.

Local member Georgia Milbourne leads the field at the halfway mark of the qualifying rounds of the Salamanca Inn Women's Amateur Championship of Tasmania.

 

Milbourne returned a two-over-par round of 76 to lead fellow Tasmania Golf Club member and defending champion, Zahara Lemon, by one stroke on three-over.
