The Region 4 Championships were held at Tentefield Golf Club on September 6 & 7.
The Region 4 Championships were held at Tenterfield over the weekend of September 6 and 7.
The field size was less than expected however the scores were better than last year, despite the cool and windy conditions.

Regional Champion -Robert Payne (Central West) 67,69 -136
Runner up -Grant Skinner (MNCDGA) 70,73 -143
Third Place – Paul Bright 72, 72 – 144
Junior champion- Jack Pountney (MNCDGA) 77,68- 145
Senior (over 55)- Peter Mackay (MNCDGA) 77,73 – 150
Regional Nett- Ben Austin (New England) 138
Regional Team Champions were Mid North Coast
Sandy Cameron Shield Club team Scratch winners were Woolgoolga team of Grant Skinner, Aaron Hart and Logan Toms
Sandy Cameron Shield Club team Nett winners were Tenterfield of Ben Austin, Nathan Gale, Michael Manser
A team traveled from Central West to play in the event and at a meeting of District representatives the proposal was to move toward sa new event to be called the Northern NSW Championships. The event will be scheduled for the last weekend in August in 2015 and will be played at Gunnedah GC.

Robert Payne was victorious, with scores of 67 and 69, to win by seven strokes to Grant Skinner.
