Alex Hendrick (The Grange) is one of the SA state team members playing the Foursomes Championship at Royal Adelaide South Australia&aposs 2011 senior representative players will be on show this weekend, when the Golf SA Men&aposs & Women&aposs Foursomes Championships tee off at Royal Adelaide on Sunday. Conducted by Golf SA, the 36-hole event which is open to all male and female amateur players who meet the aggregate handicap limit of 18 (men) and 30 (women), attracted significant interest from players, with a handicap ballot being used to decide the final field. As has become tradition in recent years, all state players from the 2011 SA men&aposs and women&aposs side have been paired together in the event as a warmup for the Australian Interstate Teams Matches which will be played in Perth next month. The men&aposs draw features some strong partnerships, with state captain Jarrad Roxby (Flagstaff Hill) partnering with Tom Bond (Grange) and Chris Brown (Grange) pairing up with Chris Austin (Tea Tree Gully). The other state partnerships see Brad Moules (Royal Adelaide) teaming up with Anthony Murdaca (Grange) and the combined Grange pairing of Sam Masters and Alex Hendrick. The women&aposs draw also promises to provide some tight contests, with the state pairings of Emma Ash and Amy Zhou (Kooyonga) taking on the Royal Adelaide teammates Sarah King and Megan Bleeze and Caitlin Roberts (Royal Adelaide) pairing with Rachel Taylor (Mt Osmond). The morning round of the Championship tees off at Royal Adelaide from 7:00am with the afternoon round starting from 11:30am.
