Huon Valley Golf Club hosted the first and quarter final rounds of the RHL Roberts Memorial Trophy last weekend. First round victories went to Huon Valley, Claremont, Kingston Beach, Tasmania, North West Bay and New Norfolk. In the afternoon s 18-holes Huon Valley defeated Richmond 6&5, Claremont shone over Kingston Beach 1up, Tasmania topped North West Bay 5&3 and Colebrook overcame New Norfolk 3&1. The semi finals will be hosted by the Claremont Golf Club on September 30 and will see Huon Valley s Adrian Butt and Tim Rumney take on local members Derrick McPherson and Andrew Kamaric. While Andrew Phillips and Williamson from the Tasmania Golf Club will come up against Colebrook s Damien Rainbird and Matthew Cross for the second spot in the final. Full results after round 2 here
