The Richmond pairing of Christine Walshaw and Leonie Mancsak have won the 2017 Pewter Plate for their club at Long Reef with an aggregate stableford score of 67 points. In perfect conditions, Christine had the best round of the day with 40 points individually. The Morisset pairing of Susan Ainsley and Judith Jones were only two points behind on a total of 65 points.
In the individual event, Castle Hill representative Elizabeth Pankhurst won the day with a great score of 37 points. Runner up was Northern Beaches local, Tracey Walker (Warringah) with a score of 35 points.
