The brother and sister duo of Tom and Jazy Roberts have taken out the Victorian U16 Junior Classic titles for term 4. Jazy Roberts has now held the trophy aloft a massive 8 times, just one short of the girls record holder Nasya Sohail. Although Jazy has claimed victory on many occasions this is Tom’s maiden overall win the U16 Junior Classic after carding the only sub-par round of the day with one-under 53. Jazy fired a score of 61 to take home the girls title and the under 14 sector.
Nothing could separate Charles Anderson and Noah Patterson after they tied on 63 a piece to walk home joint winners in the under 12 boys. Thomas Ngo narrowly edge out Joshua Siagas on a count-back for victory in the nett section.
A great round of 59 from 8-year-old Phoenix Diaz was more than good enough for top spot on the podium in the under 10 boys. Portia Hall found the day easy going on her first outing to the tricky layout taking out the honours in the under 12 girls section.
