Women’s Golf New South Wales is seeking a highly motivated, committed and enthusiastic person for this position. The Golf Programmes Coordinator is responsible for the organisation and delivery of WGNSW s Tournament, Competition and events programme, for oversight of Course Rating and Handicapping, for liaison with other golf-related organisations and for providing support to District Associations, Golf Clubs and players on golf-related matters. The successful applicant must: be a golfer with extensive experience of the game possess excellent organisational skills have a high level of IT competence, including experience in the use of industry- related software be experienced in the administration of golf competitions and tournaments possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrate a strong commitment to a client-focused approach, based on the building and maintenance of good relationships be able to work effectively as part of a team demonstrate flexibility, initiative and the ability to work without supervision. A knowledge of the Rules of Golf and Club Level Rules Accreditation are desirable. The position reports directly to the General Manager of Women’s Golf NSW, and involves some travel and occasional work outside normal business hours.
