Beautiful sunshine greeted players for the Sanctuary Lakes Rookie Series event. A total of 50 players tackled the beautiful manicured course.
Rehan Pervaiz fired a magnificent score of 42 to take out the Gross Under 9 section. Runner-up went to Rookie Series regular Samuel Snelgar with a score of 43. The Under 9 Nett winner was James Murto, coming in with 33 nett.
In the Under 9 girls we had two players take to the course. Arena Tran finished with 51 which saw her take out the gross section whilst Abbey Moule had nett 35 to win the Under 9 handicap section.
The Under 12 boys saw some excellent scoring with Taegan Dodds producing the round of the day with his score of 37 taking home the gross title. Angus Mackintosh also produced a great round with a score of 39 seeing him finish runner-up. The nett category for the Under 12 boys went to Liam Gauci with a 30 nett.
Sophie Mann got herself another win in the Under 12 girls section with a score of 43 taking out the gross event. Runner-Up was Sophie Tao, finishing with 44. The best nett score of the day came from the Under 12 girls section with Seabil Leong finishing with 29.
Noah Paterson took out the final boys gross section with his score of 40 taking out the title. Two behind Paterson was Thomas Anagnostellis after his round of 42. Continuing the family victories, Corben Leong took home the nett section, finishing with 31.
The final category was the girls Under 16. Kiandra Hughes had the best gross score with a 41. Three shots behind was Nicole Zhao who took out the runner-up prize. Ainsley Pho walked away with the nett prize with a terrific round of 29.
