The third event on the Rookie Series calendar for 2019 was completed today at Eastern GC.
Louis Inifer claimed his second Rookie Series title in 2019 with a 45 off the stick giving him a 9-shot victory in the under 9 boys.
The nett prize went to Jay McDonald who fired an excellent nett 37 off a handicap of 17.
In the under 9 girls it was Arena Tran who claimed her second Rookie Series title in the space of two weeks with a score of 53.
In just her second ever Rookie Series event, Abby Zhao returned the best nett score with 33.
The under 12 boys saw a convincing victory to Josh Siagis who carded an impressive one-over-par 37 and recorded his first ever eagle by chipping in on the par 5 22nd hole.
The nett prize went to Sebastian Tso with 31.
In the combined under 12 and under 16 girls section, Sophie Mann came out on top after she finished with 44 off the stick.
Seabil Long continues to improve in each event and claimed the nett prize with 28 off a handicap of 19.
Corbeon Leong proved too strong in the under 16 boys, returning the best overall score of the day with an even-par round of 36.
Cameron McDonald took out the nett section after shooting 38 off a handicap of 12.
The next event on the Rookie Series calendar will be played at Oakleigh GC on Saturday May 4.
