Masters champions Adam Scott and Sergio Garcia and British star Paul Casey head the blockbuster groups when the Emirates Australian Open tees off at The Australian in Sydney on Thursday.
Scott, the 2010 Australian Open champion, is seeking his first national Open for nine years and has missed the last two years.
Garcia and Casey have never played off for the Stonehaven Cup. The big-name trio will tee off at 11.50am on Thursday from the first tee.
South African Louis Oosthuizen will play alongside 2017 Australian Open champion Cameron Davis and the 2006 winner, John Senden at noon from the first tee.
Presidents Cup teammates Marc Leishman, Cameron Smith and Abraham Ancer, the defending champion, are grouped together off the 10th tee at 7.05am Thursday, providing a highlight for the morning crowds.
The tournament, hosted by The Australian for a record 21st time, will be telecast exclusively live across the screens of Channel 7 and 7Plus from midday (AEDT) each day. View the TV guide here.
The Emirates Australian Open is a flagship tournament on the ISPS Handa PGA Tour of Australasia. The winner will receive a minimum of 32 Official World Golf Ranking points.
