Royal Canberra pair win KENO Women’s Fourball State Final

Round 2 – Final Round

Beautiful Bonville delivered some great weather and also some great results in the Final Round of the 2017 KENO Women's Fourball Championship State Final.

Winners, Royal Canberra pairing of Barbara Selleck and Jane Mullings were too strong in the end with a amazing total of +8 to claim the title. They both only starting playing golf about 2.5 years ago where they both met at an introduction to golf which was held at Royal Canberra. Both ladies were excited and brought to tears when they had found out they had won.

"I can't believe we won. That's great news," said the pair.

"What a great week put on by Golf NSW, KENO and Bonville… I still can't believe we actually won.."

The pairing from The Australian Golf Club of Gabrielle Shanahan and Anne Coyne were equally excited and over the moon with their achievement after coming home with a +4 final round to claim runners up.

"We just loved being out here playing golf and meeting alot of great and lovely people from Metropolitan and Country NSW."

"Bonville Golf course was beautiful and the staff here are so professional and friendly. This week has been an expreince of a lifetime and highly recommend everyone to give it a go next year"

Huge thanks to efforts from Golf NSW and staff," said Anne.
