Matias Sanchez and Paul Little representing Royal Melbourne GC yesterday took out the Merrins-Crow plate in the lead up to the World Club Championship, being played at Nine Bridges in South Korea. The plate honors ten years of contributions by the Committee Chairman, Eddie Merrins from Bel – Air Country Club and Championship Referee, Tom Crow, former Australian amateur Champion and founder of the Cobra Golf Company.
The main tournament commences on May 19 and finishes on May 22, with Kingston Heath the only Australian club to have won the tournament back in 2004.
