Victorian Junior Team Captain and defending Australian Junior Champion, Ryan Ruffels, fined tuned his game around the tricky Kooyonga layout yesterday.
Playing alongside his fellow Victorian team members and in front of team coach David Capaldo, Ryan struck the perfect tee shot on the par 3 thrid hole at Kooyonga to record his fifth ace.
Ryan added that he had scored 3 of his five aces in South Australia and was delighted with the way the course is playing.
The Australian Junior Championships tee off today at Kooyonga GC for the boys and Tea Tree Gully GC for the girls, where Victorian Kono Matsumoto will defend her crown from 2014.
