Victorian and new National Squad member Ryan Ruffels has won at the SINGHA Thailand Junior World Championships at Royal Hua Hin Golf Course.
Ruffels finished with a final round 70 after opening rounds of 73-65-74 to be at 6-under par, tied with Suradit Yongcharoenchai. The pair were 12 strokes clear of their nearest rival in third place.
The pair headed into a play-off for the title.
"The guy in my group shot 65 so we went into a playoff," Ruffels said.
"I had a 2 shot lead playing last hole and he made birdie and I made bogey. We squared the first 5 holes of the playoff. I then birdied the sixth playoff hole to win."
"There were so many people watching. Like 1000 people. It was so much fun," Ruffels added.
