Ryu storms home to win Toledo Classic, Wright fifteenth

South Korea&aposs So Yeon Ryu blew the rest of the field away on Sunday to win the LPGA Jamie Farr Toledo Classic by seven strokes. Ryu claimed her second tour title in the United States, adding to her US Open win last year, as she careered away from equal overnight leaders and compatriots IK Kim, Jiyai Shin and Hee Kyung Seo with a round of nine-under 62 at the Highland Meadows Golf Club in Ohio. She finished on 20-under overall to claim the US$195,000 pay cheque. American Angela Stanford finished second on 13-under after carding a five-under 66 to round out the weekend. South Koreans Inbee Park and Chella Choi were tied for third on 12-under after respective rounds of two-under 69, while Jennie Lee of the United States and Kim were tied for fifth on 11-under. Another of those at the top of the leaderboard heading into the final round, Shin finished tied for seventh after signing for a one-over 72 to end the tournament level with Japan&aposs Mika Miyazato on 10-under. Seo fell to a two-over 73 in her final 18 holes to end the event level with Spain&aposs Beatriz Recari in a tie for ninth place at nine-under. Lindsey Wright was the best placed of the Australian contingent as she carded her best round of the tournament – a four-under 67 – to finish on seven-under overall in a tie for 15th. Sarah Jane Smith made it four straight rounds of even-par 71s, after she mixed four birdies with two bogeys and a double bogey on Sunday to finish in a tie for 50th. Click for LIVE SCORES
