The 2012 South Australian Aboriginal Peoples Championship was held at the North Adelaide Golf Course on 27 April. The annual event was played in perfect weather and on the very well presented South Course of North Adelaide. Dylan Butler from Gawler Golf Club took out the Men’sChampionship with a gross score of 82, ahead of senior Men’sChampion Eric Bray who shot 84. Nerida Saunders cleaned up in the ladies divisions winning the Ladies Championship with a score of gross 108 the Senior Ladies Championship, and also came runner up in the Senior Ladies nett event. All players had a great time and much of that credit goes to the sponsors and organisers of the event including the Department of Sport and Recreation, Australian Electoral Commission and Golf SA.
